Velma J. Davison, Founder & CEO
Velma Davison was born and raised in Mississippi, but made it to Texas as fast as she could!
After graduating from Mississippi Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Velma began a long and successful career in the financial industry in Dallas, TX. In her more than 30 years of experience, Velma has worked as the Assistant Comptroller for the Dallas Museum of Art and the Office & Payroll Manager for Art & Commerce Company.
Velma founded JVMA Financial Services in 1997 to provide superior financial services to individuals, families, and businesses in the Dallas. Since then, it has been her privilege and passion to serve a diverse set of client from single mothers and families to solopreneurs and medium size businesses.
In her spare time, Velma enjoys being the Secretary of the Family of Faith Christian Center Church, serving as the Founder & President of Davison Community Development, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her family.
